RPL Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between Ausqualify (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and individuals (“you” or “the applicant”) applying for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). By applying for RPL through our website, you agree to comply with these terms.
2. Eligibility
- RPL is available to individuals who can provide sufficient evidence of their skills, knowledge, and work experience related to the qualification they are seeking.
- The final decision regarding eligibility for RPL is determined by the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that assesses your application.
3. Application Process
- You must submit accurate and truthful information when completing the RPL application.
- Supporting documents (such as work experience, certificates, references, and portfolios) must be genuine and verifiable.
- The assessment process will be conducted by an authorized RTO based on national qualification standards.
4. Fees and Payments
- Fees for RPL assessments will be communicated upfront before processing your application.
- Payment must be made in full before your application is reviewed.
- Fees are non-refundable once the RPL process has commenced unless stated otherwise under our refund policy.
5. Assessment and Outcome
- The RTO will assess your submission based on industry standards and qualification requirements.
- If additional evidence is required, you must provide it within the requested timeframe.
- If your application is deemed not yet competent, options such as gap training may be available.
6. Certification and Qualification Issuance
- If you successfully meet all RPL requirements, the issuing RTO will provide you with a Nationally Recognised Qualification.
- Certificates are issued directly by the RTO and comply with Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) regulations.
7. Accuracy of Information
- You are responsible for ensuring that all submitted information and documents are accurate and up to date.
- Providing false or misleading information may result in application rejection and legal consequences.
8. Refund Policy
- Refunds will only be considered in cases where the RPL process has not commenced.
- No refunds are provided once an RPL assessment has started, except under exceptional circumstances approved by the RTO.
9. Privacy and Confidentiality
- We collect and store personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Your information is shared only with the relevant RTOs for assessment and qualification issuance.
- We do not disclose your personal information to third parties without consent, except when required by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
- We act as a facilitator for RPL services and are not responsible for the assessment decisions made by RTOs.
- We are not liable for any delays or unforeseen issues that may arise during the assessment or certification process.
11. Amendments to Terms
- These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services implies acceptance of these terms.
